Forum Upgrades

You may or may not have noticed, but I’ve been installing some upgrades to phpBB.

So far, I have installed improved BBCode tools (what you see when you write a post). It should give you access to just about every possible BBCode you can use.

I also have installed a basic password strength indicator, not that I am too worried about that.

Finally, there is now a rank ‘progress indicator.’ FYI, these rank names are not your actual forum status. They are simply titles you get based on your post count. The only group that has its own rank is Sub-admins, who will display as “Moderator”. (Or other custom titles I can grant. Donors can request one of these!)

There is a gallery mod that I am probably going to add, however it is quite an intensive installation process so it’ll be a while to do.

The gallery mod is installed. The custom style I have default isn’t really built for it. I’ve improved it some but it needs a lot of work. If you use the other style everything should look more normal.

Just announcing support for phone browsers. The theme should automatically switch to a mobile view that is easier to interact with on such devices. If you prefer to have all your normal options and information, there is a link to disable mobile view at the bottom of the page. The gallery does not work well with this mode, so be warned.
