Are you that ignorant? I ban and rollback about 10 players each day because of trial world griefing. And sorry that I can’t be online 24/7, I have a life outside of minecraft. Anyway it’s Silarn who decides who the mods will be, not you.

By saying “we need to keep existing players in line” you imply that someone has been misbehaving or not following the rules.
By saying that I mean we need more people to help out the existing players.

Deputies can’t permaban or promote higher than reg and idk if they have a limit on the copy paste.
If you don’t know anything about what deputies and moderators can do, then why are you making some dumb assumptions about that. Deps don’t need to promote people higher than regular and they have an infinite worldedit limit. As for banning, I have suggested several times to silarn that deputies should gain permaban.

lmao I agreed with your original opinion of promoting ab, however you started the whole “rant” by claiming that I am “not doing my mod duty” and making some dumb assumptions about ranks. I simply replied to your posts and clarified several things. If I wanted to 'bash you" then you would’ve been punished already lol
So, by promoting more people to Moderator, what does that get me, exactly? Another person that can global ban, basically. If I were to give local ban permissions to Deputies then I get myself into the position of having to constantly monitor Deputy bans to see if any of them actually deserved a global ban instead. It’s more work for me. If I give Deputies global ban permissions, I end up with a LOT of people suddenly able to global ban. And if any of those global bans end up being overturned because we forgot to record evidence or it shouldn’t have been global to begin with, the server loses reputation on the MCBans system. If we lose too much reputation, our bans essentially mean nothing to the community. This adds a lot of potential risk.
There really isn’t any reason why a Mod or I would be unable to determine a permanent ban choice for players within a 24 hour time period (long before the griefers are ‘right back on the sever again’), provided you report it on the forums as I have asked. Deputies have already been given full LogBlock permissions in the Trial world, which is where it is needed 95% of the time anyway. You just recently gained the power to promote Regulars, which is more than you have had in the past. And the Deputy ranks just swelled.
Am I averse to promoting a new Mod? No, I suppose not. But I’m also not going to do it just because some people want it, especially when the reasoning behind it is spotty at best.

Because of trial world, which is the whole point of trial world. As stated in my last post, Deputies can help out just fine and adding additional permissions adds liabilities.

Same as above. No limit. Full rollback permissions in trial world. Tempbanning is perfectly fine. One of us is always online within a 24 hour period. It doesn’t take long to escalate a temp ban, they simply have to inform us about the ban possibly using the forum.

There have already been some issues with rollback since I opened it up to Deputies in trial world. You need to be careful with how you rollback and do not do a global rollback unless absolutely necessary. Somebody must have done so recently because blocks suddenly popped back up out of nowhere from a week ago from buildings that had been patched from griefers but later removed due to remaining incomplete and the creator not returning to the server. Local rollbacks more please. You’ll need to demonstrate you can handle this properly before I even consider a promotion.
You can really mess things up as much as help with a rollback if you do it wrong. In the case of multiple griefers working together, you must do a collective rollback (player name1 name2 name3) so it does all of their edits otherwise blocks that multiple griefers touched will still end up unfixed.
