We seem to only have one active Mod lately.
I’ve noticed a bigger problem with griefers, spammers, and other nuisances on the server.
We need more Mods to battle this problem and to keep the existing serious players in line.
I highly suggest ab as one of these promotions.

The obvious solution to this is to give deputies more moderation powers such as permaban and such. As for geric, he was only promoted to deputy less than a week ago and he isn’t ready to be a moderator yet. However, I do agree that ab deserves moderator soon.
Since this pertains to me, I feel obligated to commenting on this motion. I have no doubt in mind that there needs to be more active mods, and that I am a possible candidate for the position. Lately, I’ve been joking and “complaining” about being a Derputy, but I now realize that I was indeed the original Deputy (or so I think at this moment; feel free to correct me Sil or Alien.) This rank is awesome, even with all of it’s small mishaps and whatnot, and I love it to death. However, I think that the situation we as a fast growing community are in at the moment is too dire for me to sit back and derp around. This is what I have to say: I, ab5597, will gladly step up to the plate in order to keep SilCraft the best damn server out there. Keep in mind though, that I do not need this right now and will wait until the right time arises. I thank you all for your generous amounts of praise and kindness, and also to those who have really helped me out. Ya’ know who you are ;D. When the time comes, I’ll probably put out a post pertaining to the application of becoming a mod, but only when someone higher up acknowledges me. In the meantime, I’m ab5597, and Imma just keep derpin’ around at the moment. Best wishes, everyone!
digikid13 was the “original” deputy back in alpha. When the deputy rank was re-added in about beta 1.7 calvert was the first one to become a dep then. However, you got dep basically the day after cal, lol
Sorry, I suck. Kind of killed the post now. Oh well, half of the time any amount of effort I put into something has absolutely no impact at all. Story of my life. Just keep me a Deputy
Just throwing this out there… Racer went from priv to deputy in the time of about a month or two. So the geric thing has no problem. Ab you would be an excellent Mod and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. One Mod is not enough especially with the growing server population. And Ab is the best candidate for the job.
That’s not true at all, racer was priv for a few months or so, then was vip for about a month, and then was promoted to dep less than a week ago.

There hasn’t been any extreme levels of grief as far as I can see and I haven’t seen a true spambot in at least a week or so.
You haven’t seen anything because you don’t do anything about it. Sil cleans up all their messes. Not you. A Mods job is to help Sil with his job. He has enough to do. Which is why I am requesting more Mods.
