The new Minecraft snapshot released yesterday featured these new items called “Spawn Eggs”

Each one of those eggs spawns a different mob, good or bad.
Now, as we know, this would be bad if these got into the wrong hands.
We need to restrict these to mod+ when the time comes.
Just a heads up!
How exactly would this break anything? Mob damage is already restricted in creative world. It sounds pretty fun to me, but maybe you have something in mind I don’t know about.
I do.
If a new player comes along and gets promoted enough to use /i then he could spawn a bunch and spam them everywhere, causing lag. That won’t be too good.
Also the fact that /butcher doesn’t kill non-hostile mobs adds to the danger because what if they spawn a ton of sheep or cows?
I can restrict what items you can spawn, so I can do that if necessary.
Yeah, I think it’s safe with priv+ but I’d still say mod+ just to be certain.
