Ranking up.

[tab=30]I have been reading the SilCraft Wiki recently because the server was updating and have found something I don’t really like. On the Wiki it says that survival ranks are directly related to creative ranks which is a problem for me.
[tab=30]Honestly I spend from 3:30 when I get home to 10:00 at night on this server, That’s around 6 and a half hours. I spend all my free time on this server and to know that I can’t rank up unless I play on creative (A mode I personally despise) is very disheartening. I just want to know what the reasoning behind this is or if there are any exceptions.

This is NOT me asking for ranks, I would just like to know if it is even possible.

In survival, ranks don’t matter much.
If you’re so concerned on ranking up, you’re going to have to spend more time in creative.

Ok, Thanks for the reply. Still not pleased with the answer but I guess there is nothing I can do about it :unamused: . I suppose the problem just lies with the fact that I joined this server for survival and I will have to play creative to move up in the server.

There is nothing you can’t do in survival with a lower rank. It might cost a bit more but you can do it. It is not unknown to earn a promotion if you actually do something meaningful in survival. Just ask emperorczer.

lol, yea. work hard man, you can do it! :smiley: tbh, ranks dont mean much in surv unless your a deputy+. the only real perks to having a higher rank in survival, is the color of your name. the rank system basically just lets you have the use of some plugins in creative, so not much use in survival.

P.S. i also dislike creative(i still use it in order to experiment with redstone :stuck_out_tongue:).
