Router Woes

Just thought I’d drop an update. At the moment the server has to go through a very crappy AT&T 2wire modem/router, which has a tendency to block connections despite my opening ports etc. It also means the LAN network has to share bandwidth with our cable/tv. This is being rectified as we speak; I’m getting a high quality router to serve as the front-end with DMZ passthru. With better network connectivity and router settings, I’m hoping to get things running much more smoothly soon.

ok but you may want to kill all of the chickens in the chicken farm it might be lagging the server
i tried but as soon as i got by it i dropped to 3 frames per seconds

Your fps has little to do with server lag. It means your gou can’t handle all the chicken. Bawk.

Frankly I’m not sure how it happened, but I had to kill the animals. Horses are okay but the rest will have to be remade. Somehow there were 2000 mobs right there. I’m just wondering how I limit that so it doesn’t kill old CPUs.

lol yes it was the chickens! I never got on to clean em out
